1. Acceptance
By downloading, registering for, or using the Lisanova mobile app ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of the Service
Lisanova is a mobile app that supports language learning in English, Bosnian, and Spanish, at CEFR levels A1 through C1, for Turkish-speaking adults. The App includes vocabulary practice, listening exercises, roleplay scenarios, and AI-powered speaking practice. The App is currently distributed on an unlisted basis and is accessible only via invitation or direct link.
3. Creating an Account
To use the App you must create an account with your email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your account secure. You agree that you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you notice any unauthorized use of your account, please contact us.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Access or use another user's account without permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the App's source code
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) that could harm the operation of the App
- Use the AI conversation feature to generate harassing, hateful, or unlawful content
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent the App's security measures
5. AI-Generated Content
Conversation practice, pronunciation feedback, and some lesson content in the App are generated by AI models (DeepSeek API for text generation, ElevenLabs for audio). This content is intended for educational purposes and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of context. We recommend treating it as a practice tool rather than a substitute for professional language instruction.
6. Pricing
As of the effective date of these terms, Lisanova is entirely free to use, with no advertising and no in-app purchases. Should this pricing model change in the future, users will be notified in advance through the App or this website.
7. Intellectual Property
The App — including its software, design, logo, lesson content, and branding — is owned by Nezih Dertsiz and protected by copyright. These terms grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You retain rights to the text and audio you provide during speaking practice, but you grant us a license to process that content for the purpose of providing the service.
8. Changes and Availability of the Service
We may modify, add, or remove features from time to time in order to improve the App. We do not guarantee that the App will operate uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also terminate your own account at any time via Settings → Delete My Account.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
